If you’re the parent of a young athlete, you’re likely familiar with sports physicals. You’ve seen the ads for them: short wait times, no appointment needed, open seven days a week. But are these quick medical check-ups the best way to monitor your child’s health? Not at all… Read More
John Doscher, M.D.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, I attended Davidson College and then the University of Louisville School of Medicine. After training at Dayton Children’s Hospital, where I was Chief Resident in Pediatrics, I returned to Cincinnati to practice.
When I started Landen Lake Pediatrics in 1989, I wanted to create a small community practice near my own home, where we would know all our patients’ names and they would know ours. I’m proud to say we’ve achieved that goal, and we work hard to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Several of our staff have been with us since the early years, and we’re now seeing the children of patients who first came to us more than 25 years ago.
I believe in a common-sense, evidence-based approach to medicine. I also do a great deal of work with children with ADD/ADHD, depression and anxiety.
I am married with two daughters and a son and share a house with three Westie Terriers. I enjoy a little gardening, not enough fly fishing and weekend mini-vacations.
Paul Korn, M.D.
I grew up in New York and graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY. I moved to Cincinnati in 1988 to do residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. I have been in practice since 1992 and joined Landen Lake Pediatrics in 1997.
I love kids, and enjoy seeing them grow and develop from babies to young adults. I am a guide who helps parents navigate the sometimes challenging journey of raising children. I also believe in a sensible approach to problem-solving in pediatrics, as common sense will often help parents and children arrive at good choices.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors and gardening, travel, skiing, cooking and baking (and eating). I do crossword puzzles 365 days a year, and like to read good detective novels.
I am married to Marcie Strasser, M.D. and have 2 sons (and 2 cats).
Angeli Mehta Underiner, M.D.
I grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison before moving to Cincinnati in 1992. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, I completed my residency training in Pediatric Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. I’ve been practicing at Landen Lake Pediatrics since 2002.
I have always loved children and enjoy providing care for your child every step of the way, from infancy to childhood and all the way through college.
I’m married and have three children (and one dog). In my spare time I love to read and enjoy attending local theater productions. I also enjoy traveling to other countries with my family.
